Anti-Slavery Policy

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking — all of which involve depriving someone of their liberty for personal or commercial gain.

Haymade is a small WordPress development company. Our team is tiny, our supply chain is short, and our work is digital. We are well below the £36m turnover threshold that triggers mandatory reporting under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This policy is voluntary. We publish it because it reflects how we genuinely want to operate, not because a law requires us to.

Our position

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery in any form. That applies to our own team, the freelancers and contractors we work with, and the companies whose products and services we buy.

Our supply chain

Being honest about our risk profile matters more than copying a corporate template. Haymade is a digital services business. Our supply chain consists mainly of:

We do not procure physical goods, raw materials, or labour from overseas factories. Our modern slavery risk is low compared to businesses with complex global supply chains. That said, low risk is not zero risk. We take it seriously, and we pay attention to who we work with.

What we do

Raising concerns

We are a small team and the directors are always accessible. If you work with us or for us and have any concern — however small — about modern slavery or unethical labour practices, please raise it directly.

You can also contact the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700, which is free, confidential and available 24 hours a day.

Anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith will be supported and protected. No one will face any negative consequence for speaking up, even if the concern turns out to be mistaken.

Review

The directors of Haymade Ltd review this policy once a year to make sure it still reflects how we work and the standards we hold ourselves to. If our business grows or our supply chain changes, we will update this policy to match. This policy was last reviewed in April 2026.
